[Updates] Patch Notes - February 8, 2023

Ranger
Dev Note The Awakened Ranger can now react better thanks to improvements made to Spirit's Haven, which betters her ability to close the distance with her enemies, and Flow: Rushing Wind, which saw changes to the applied defensive effects. Though knockdown effects are activated through grapple or said ability to close in to enemies, certain skills had comparatively stronger PvP damage that would easily overwhelm opponents even without status effects. Thus, such skills have been adjusted. We have also adjusted Evasive Explosion Shot, a skill which recovers stamina and activates invincibility, as it allowed you to endlessly maintain the invincibility status.
- Rework Evasive Explosion Shot (I to Absolute) (Main Weapon) Changed to now cost Stamina instead of MP. Skill Cost: 38/55/60/60 MP → 50 Stamina Due to the above changes, you will no longer recover Stamina for the duration of defensive effects applied during the skill. Changed the PvP Damage Reduction Rate for the following skills: Nature's Tremble: -35% → -42% Wind Blade: -30% → -42.8% Regeneration: -55% → -65.4%
Wizard
Dev Note We've lessened the difficulty of using Awakened Wizard’s skills. Hellfire, which only activated upon contact with an enemy, can now be used whenever you want for greater diversity of combos. Chilling Wave, which would only activate Forward Guard upon an additional hit, has been improved to activate defensive effects throughout the entire duration of the skill.
- Buff Speed Spell (Main Weapon) Improved to combo more smoothly into other skills and movement.
- Rework Lava Field (Main Weapon) Changed so the lava field is created near the character when using the skill.
- Rework Barrage of Water (Main Weapon) Changed so tier 3 add-ons can be applied. Changed the skill cooldown from 17 sec to 14 sec.
- Rework Hellfire (Main Weapon) Increased the movement distance of the skill. Improved to combo smoothly into other skills. Changed skill damage as follows: Attack damage 697/766/836/996% x 11 → 1080/1226/1338/1594% x 6 Critical Hit Rate +25% (PvE only) → Critical Hit Rate +50% PvP Damage Reduction Rate 54.1% → 54% Changed Black Spirit: Hellfire damage accordingly. Changed to attack immediately when pressing LMB during the skill.
- Bugfix Black Spirit: Hellfire (Main Weapon) Fixed the issue of the skill not comboing smoothly into Flame Knot, Magma Bomb, Bolide of Destruction, Elementalization.
- Bugfix Flow: Arne's Guidance (Main Weapon) Changed the number of hits from max 15 to max 14. Fixed the issue of Arne's Guidance attacks not being applied properly when activating the skill.
- Bugfix Chilling Wave (Main Weapon) Changed the skill as follows: Changed skill animations. Changed so extra attacks are always activated accordingly. Fixed the issue of Forward Guard not being applied in certain situations during the skill due to the change of extra attacks being always activated. Adjusted skill damage.
- Rework Elementalization (Main Weapon) Changed to combo smoothly with other skills. Changed skill's cooldown from 15 sec to 7 sec. Changed skill's stamina consumption from 200 to 250.
- Rework Flame's Calling (Main Weapon) Changed the skill as follows: Changed skill animations. Changed skill cooldown from 15 sec to 9 sec. Changed damage as follows: Attack damage 1390% → 1585% PvP Damage Reduction Rate 36% → 43%
- Buff Bolide of Destruction (I to III) (Main Weapon) Changed skill damage as follows: Attack damage 749/983/1606% → 899/1278/1927% PvP Damage Reduction Rate 35/35/45.8% → 52/52/52%
- Buff Skills that were enhanced only when Marg or Arne were summoned will now be enhanced regardless.
Witch
Dev Note Improvements have been made so that Awakened Witch’s combos will be easier and smoother. Earth's Calling will now activate automatically after Fissure Wave to simplify the combo. Also, Thunder Storm, which would only activate quickly after Voltaic Pulse will now activate quickly after any skill to allow for even more effective combo techniques.
- Buff Speed Spell (Main Weapon) Improved to combo more smoothly into other skills and movement.
- Rework Toxic Flood (Main Weapon) Changed so the toxic flood is created near the character when using the skill.
- Rework Barrage of Lightning (Main Weapon) Changed so tier 3 add-ons can be applied. Changed skill cooldown from 20 sec to 17 sec.
- Buff Elementalization (Main Weapon) Changed to combo smoothly with other skills. Changed skill's cooldown from 15 sec to 7 sec. Changed skill's stamina consumption from 200 to 250. Improved to combo smoothly into Lightning Blast.
- Buff Fissure Wave (Main Weapon) Improved to perform the skill through Perfect Sign on additional Quick Slot activations after being initially activated via Quick Slot.
- Buff Thunder Storm (Main Weapon) Changed the location where Tett is summoned so Tett and Witch can attack in the same direction when using the skill. Improved to combo more smoothly into other skills. Improved so the skill always activates quickly.
- Nerf Earth's Calling (Main Weapon) Changed the skill as follows: Removed the skill's control keys and cooldown. Changed so the skill is automatically activated when using Fissure Wave. Removed Down Smash. Changed skill damage as follows: Attack damage 1390% → 904% PvP Damage Reduction Rate 36% → 44%
- Rework Yoke of Ordeal (I to III) (Main Weapon) Changed the skill as follows: Changed skill damage as follows: Attack damage 826/1099/1339% → 866/1152/1403% PvP Damage Reduction Rate 62% → 63.6% Improved to combo with Flow: Magical Evasion and Elementalization. Changed the damage to be greater closer to the attack's point of origin.
- Buff Flow: Gorr Roll (Main Weapon) Changed skill damage as follows: Attack damage 842% → 1137% PvP Damage Reduction Rate 9.1% → 32.6%
- Buff Skills that were only enhanced when Gorr or Tett were summoned will now be enhanced regardless.
Shai
Dev Note The method in which buffs are activated while using Shai's We're Gonna Win! skill has been improved. Before, the buffs were applied to allies in a fixed area when using the skill, and this proved to be inefficient with allies moving around and the area itself being small. Now, the skill will affect characters that the Shai is facing, thus allowing the Shai to buff allies in front of her instead of those in fixed areas.
- Bugfix We're Gonna Win! (Talent) Changed how the skill is applied when using the following skills after it: Summer Rain, Do it Better, Shout to the Sky, Time to Shine!, Sun, Moon, Stars Effects will be applied to characters in the front when using the above skills after We're Going to Win! Changed the skill's performance delivery to show more detailed effects. Fixed the issue of the skill effect not being applied even allies are closer to the character after using the following skills: Summer Rain, Do it Better!, Shout to the Sky, Time to Shine!, Sun, Moon, Stars
Sage
Dev Note Following the reduction of stamina consumption of Prime: Rift Chain, we have further improved the Awakened Sage by stabilizing Prime: Spear Bolt and its combo into subsequent skills. In the case of some skills, however, PvP damage was too powerful compared to the stabilization of dealing damage. Thus, we have balanced skills with PvP damage that were deemed too high compared to their speed in activation.
- Rework Ator's Illusion (Main Weapon, Succession) Changed skill damage: Attack damage 966% x 6 → 1315% x 6 PvP Damage Reduction Rate: 35% → 29%
- Buff Piercing Thorn (Main Weapon, Succession) Changed skill damage: Attack damage 1132% x 61358% x 6
Drakania
- Bugfix Fixed the issue of Levathan Shard having abnormal expiry date when obtaining it from the Accuracy (+15) Sub-weapon Box (Temp).
Woosa
- Bugfix Sagoonja: Orchid (Main Weapon, Succession) Fixed the issue of skill's Down attack effect not being applied.
Maegu
- Buff Flow: Nether River (Main Weapon, Succession) Improved skill's attack motion to be performed more smoothly.
- QoL Foxspirit: Tag, Bared Claws (Main Weapon, Succession) Removed MP Recovery on Foxspirit: Tag hits and added the following effects to Bared Claws. Removed: [Foxspirit: Tag (I to Absolute), Prime: Foxspirit: Tag] "Recover +30/30/30/40/40 MP per hit" Added: [Bared Claws] "Recover +25 MP per hit"
- Bugfix Charm Mastery (Main Weapon, Succession) Fixed the issue of recovering MP even when the the skill didn't successfully hit.
- Bugfix Foxspirit: Tag (Main Weapon, Succession) Fixed the issue of the Super Armor effect being maintained until the skill's animation resolved.
- Bugfix Flower Shroud (I to Absolute) (Main Weapon, Succession) Fixed the issue of the character moving unnaturally in certain areas when using the skill backward.
- Bugfix Charmed (Main Weapon, Succession) Fixed the issue of the MP being consumed twice when using the skill during cooldown.
- Bugfix Soulflame, Soulsnare (Main Weapon, Succession) Fixed the issue of Foxspirit Charm being summoned in an weird location when using both of the skills while Combat Assistance was being applied.
- Buff Soulflame (Main Weapon, Succession) Improved so comboing with other skills is smoother when using Flow: Hanpuri after using the skill.
- Bugfix Prime: Foxspirit: Deceiver (Main Weapon, Succession) Fixed the issue of the double showing abnormally when the double gets too far from Maegu. Fixed the issue of not being able to move to the double's location when the double tries to go down on an incline. Fixed the issue of the camera being temporarily abnormal when moving to the double's location in a certain situation. Fixed the issue of the outfit color not being applied to the double when equipping Sun's Resolve outfit. Fixed the issue of not being able to see the double's HP bar when toggling "Show When Struck" on in the Show My Character's HP Gauge settings. Fixed the issue of applied buff effects not visible on the double. Fixed the issue of being able to move into an inaccessible location of the Arena of Solare and Marni's Realm. Fixed the issue of the color of the outline not changing on other adventurers' doubles when Color Vision Aid is activated. Fixed the issue of the double not showing the helmet, gloves and shoes when Hide Outfit is activated while wearing the Desert Camouflage Armor. Fixed the issue where the character would get stuck in the wooden fence while changing the location with the double on top of the Wooden Fence (Conquest War). Improved so Maegu's facial expressions appear natural when using certain skills. Improved the animation of rolling on the ground after landing from a high height during combat. Fixed the character's animations flowed unnaturally in certain areas when falling into the air when using certain movement skills.
